27 January, 2012 | | No Comment

For many older individuals, finding love after the loss of a life-time spouse can be a difficult time. However, for those who are lucky enough to find love again and enjoy the rest of their golden years, many are turning to special celebrations in order to declare their love for each other. In these instances, employing the use of a Boston Wedding DJ would be a great idea.

A Boston Wedding DJ will be able to come to your event and play the music of yesterday and today. You can choose songs that remind you of the good times when you were growing up, finding your first love and finding your new love, songs that remind you of your children, and any song in between. A Wedding DJ can additionally play fun songs like the Chicken Dance, the Marcarena, and the Electric slide and songs for all ages. A great DJ can also build in magical moments that are romantic, fun and unexpected-like a Teddy Bear Toss for the grandchildren, a voice-over poem to accompany your first dance, and a special family dance rather than the traditional Mother/Son or Father/Daughter dance. Falling in love is a magical event no matter what age you may be, and celebrating it by using a DJ can make it even more memorable.

My Brother Asked Me to Make Ukulele Reviews

4 January, 2012 | | No Comment

My brother just bought a new ukulele last week. He told me ahead of time that after a few months, he wanted me to make ukulele reviews. I asked why he would let me do it instead of doing it himself. He said that he has seen my writing and preferred it. He said that I express myself better and figured I’m the best person to describe his ukulele. I asked him how I would know about the ukulele if I don’t even use it. I don’t even know how to play it.

He told me not to worry as he will just dictate the ukulele’s qualities to me. He will tell me everything about the ukulele: his experience with it, it’s good and bad qualities. After then, it’s up to me to transfer his opinions to my own writing. I thought it was a great idea so I agreed to do the reviews for him.

Top Reasons Why You Should Use Music Production Software!

21 December, 2011 | | No Comment

Music production software has now taken the world of music production by storm, as discussed in dubturbo. The beat market online is flourishing for music producers who want to earn money online. Music producers can make around $1,000, $5,000 and up to $10,000 per month even without a record label. Nowadays, music producers are using music maker software to produce high-quality beats similar to what you can produce in a studio. The cost of making music has dramatically dropped because beat making software has become more affordable to anyone with a computer and internet connection. In putting up a studio, you will need midi controllers, sequencers, drum machines and other costly equipment that is quite hard to learn. Even those experienced producers of hip hop beats are making use of this software to come up with today’s hits. Even beginners with no experience in audio production can easily produce rap beats from their own computers at home. Most music production software packages are packed with preloaded instrumentals and samples so that users can easily start their way to making music.

Treble Clef Notes

18 November, 2011 | | No Comment

Want to learn more about bass clef notes and treble clef notes and how they are played on the piano? You can easily learn these concepts online. These clefs come up in the majority of music books which you can buy in a store or online. What do these clefs do? The clef lets you know where on the piano you should be playing the notes.

The treble clef is the most common clef thorough most musical instruments. This clef is also named the G-Clef. The treble clef is widely used for most music instruments.

The bass clef is less popular than the treble clef. The bass clef is also called the F clef. The bass clef is only seen with a few instruments. Most instruments are either the bass of the song or the melody. For piano players, the bass clef notates the notes which defines the rhythm of the song.

Boy in Love with Lead Guitarist Reads Digitech RP 355 Review

28 October, 2011 | | No Comment

Tom shook his head in disgust as he read the DigiTech RP 355 review online. Apparently, the review did not please Tom at all. He had tried to read a review of the guitar pedal he was interested in. Guitar pedals have recently took up most of Tom’s waking moments. Before you go jumping to any conclusion, let me tell you first off that Tom is not a rock star.

Tom is not even a star or anything of the sort. Tom does not play guitar either. He doesn’t know how to play a guitar at all; which leaves you, dear reader, totally confused. The truth of the matter is that Tom, a laid back all time guy next door type, had fallen hard for the lead guitarist of a local rock band.

What did I say about forming assumptions before? Tom is not in love with a man. He’s in love with Starla. Starla is a woman who plays for the band that had regular shows at the bar Tom goes to.

Starla is a walking cliché for “lead guitarist” and Tom was no match for her, unless he gave her a rocking guitar effects pedal to improve her performance.

Better Posture Equals Better Singing

4 August, 2011 | | No Comment

If you want to learn how to sing better, a good place to start is with your posture. Better posture isn’t far off of what you learned when you were a kid: sit up straight, shoulders back (not too high like a military parade) and chest up. This is your basic posture for singing in such a way that your breath management has the greatest opportunity to be correct for singing.

Now, just keeping your chest up and shoulders back and relaxed is not even the main thing, although it would seem to be, since posture is associated mostly with your back position. The main thing about good posture for singing is the alignment of you head, neck and torso. Keeping your back straight is the easiest way of getting there, but it is not the end in itself.

Another good way to achieve this is to stand straight, up against a wall.

Making Great Beats

19 July, 2011 | | No Comment

I had a flair for percussion at a very young age, as my father would frequently find me playing around on his drums. At first he would reprimand me, but then when he realized that I had some potential, he started to teach me things. Well, I took to it like a fish in water and I began to play drum set and other percussion instruments for the school band. Now that I’ve had the chance to develop my tastes a little bit, I lean toward the hip hop and rap side of the musical spectrum. I also have a laptop now, and I generally spend much of the day making beats. I’ve been advised by one of my teachers at school that my beats are great and that there are ways to sell beats online if I want to start to get into the business early. I think that this is a great idea, and I’m going to look into these avenues as soon as I get back online tonight after jazz band practice.

Choosing the Best Synth

6 July, 2011 | | No Comment

In order to choose the best synth, you will have to narrow down your list of requirements so that you know what to look for when you are looking at equipment. Some of the most important questions you will have to answer will be concerning how many sounds you will require the synth to have. You should also figure out which customization options you want and whether or not you want the keyboard to have weighted keys. If you are a pianist, you will most likely want weighted keys, as it feels more realistic. But for other people, this may not be a big concern. But all of these factors will make a difference as to which synth will be the best one for you. Make sure you take some time to read reviews and comparisons of different products, so that you can have a good idea of what each one of them does. You should also go to try some of them in a shop that specializes in this type of equipment.

He is My Idol

13 June, 2011 | | No Comment

I see that Antonio Giacca is a pretty successful guy, and I have always aimed to be just like him when I found out about him. I guess I feel like I have a chance because I am so young. I have always wanted to be a producer, but I am really aiming at being a DJ first. I think it takes one step at a time in order to become successful in America. I just have to work hard at it too. I know that some people might not have the opportunity to be whatever they want to be, but I feel like I have both the opportunity and the talent, so it would be really stupid of me if I didn’t pursue my dream and become like Mr. Giacca. I think he worked hard to get to where he is today, and he is always going to be the number one person I look up to when I need guidance in life.

Why Grand Pianos Are Awesome

28 February, 2011 | | No Comment

The name pianos comes from the term pianosforte meaning loud and soft. Previous instruments did not have the capability of allowing the player to determine the volume of the individual notes. Volume is controlled by the pressure place on the keys; a light touch produces a soft sound while a sharp hard hit will create a louder sound. The instrument as we know it today traces its origins to earlier instruments such as the harpsichord and clavichord that were popular in renaissance times. These earlier instruments had a similar body shape to the instrument we know today but were much thinner in width. Many pieces of music have been written specifically for the instrument. Famous composers like Beethoven and Bach wrote many great works that are still loved across the world today. The pianos is used in many musical performances today and is adaptable to a variety of musical situations.

Doing Piece of Electronica Music for Talent Show

14 February, 2011 | | No Comment

There is a talent show coming up at college and I have decided to enter it by performing a piece of electronica music that I have created all by myself in my spare time. I don’t do music at college, in fact I probably do quite opposite as I do physical education and foreign language studies but one of my passions in my free time is to make my own music. Now I realise that this is not going to be the coolest thing I could do and my friends are probably going to take the rise out of me for it but I am confident that I can win the contest and it would look good on my CV when I leave college if I have that behind me, especially if I do ever decide to go into music related. It will also answer the question that I always ask myself which is am I really any good or not?

I’m Not Afraid or Love the Way You Lie? Which One Sounds Best on the Piano?

9 February, 2011 | | No Comment

So I have recently purchased a brand new piano and I’m looking for new music to play. I tried classical music, but I think it’s too slow and boring for me. Then I searched around many forums and blogs until I found several sites which offer free sheet music. I was pretty happy to find free sheet music! Then I came upon a conundrum: which sheet music sounds best to play? I love Eminem and I have narrowed it to two of his most recent hits: I’m not Afraid sheet music and Love the Way you Lie sheet music which one do you recommend?

Yes I know that he has a lot more music than those two. As a matter of fact I also love a lot more of his music, but those two are the ones I like most. They’re very new and everyone seems to like those two songs so I can simply play on a piano and be the life of the party! Or at least meet someone new ;)

My Karaoke Christmas

1 January, 2011 | | No Comment

This year I got a delightful Christmas surprise when my family decided to buy me a karaoke machine. They knew that I liked going out to karaoke bars on occasion with my friends whenever I needed to relieve some stress. Over the years I have become quite a fan of karaoke and met some interesting people throughout my adventures. I always thought about buying a home machine for myself, but I was a bit worried about how addicted I might get to singing in my own home. I thought it would be better to keep karaoke as a public activity or else I ran the risk of holing myself up in my home and never going out again. Maybe that was a bit drastic, but I do work a tough job that requires me to stay focused even when I am working from my home office. But this year my family threw caution to the wind and decided to get me one of the best karaoke machines on the market. After opening up my gift we began using it right away and I’m very glad that they bought me this system.

My new karaoke system would probably cost several hundred dollars if I were to buy it myself. It comes with a self contained display so that I don’t need to hook it up to my television, although I’d probably do it if I was going to entertain a large group of people. My machine also is capable of playing downloaded songs off the Internet, and there is a special feature that suppresses the natural vocals so that I can sing in my own voice. This is a great feature that will end up saving me a lot of time and of money because I don’t have to go out and buy a whole bunch of karaoke CDs. I spend hours on end playing with my machine and experimenting with all of these features to figure out the perfect setup. I guess I’m going to lose a lot of work time this year in favour of singing karaoke, but hopefully I’ll be able to find that balance between fun and staying on task. In the end, I’d say this is one of the best Christmas gifts I’ve ever received and I’m very thankful for my new karaoke machine. If you want one of your own, you can consult http://karaokemachineguide.com/.
